I used to love night time snacks,
in fact one of my favourites was donuts and ice cream,
I loved the taste but I often felt guilty after I had finished it.
If a food tastes that good, why feel bad about it though?
At that time I was going through a lot of anxiety problems
and I thought that eating these kinds of snacks was okay
because they made me feel better.
What I didn't know, but do know now, is that
these foods can often be the cause of increased anxiety.
I thought these snacks were making me feel better,
but they were just giving me a short term boost
which caused anxiety and guilt afterwards.
