Today I got asked how quickly a person could lose 12Kg / 2 Stone.
I told them that a realistic target for that is about 6 weeks.
They asked if it could be done in 4?
Well, yes it could, but you will have to work at it.
I then had a chat with them that revealed that they had no diet plan.
They also had no goals set for the 4 week period.
Just the concept of losing the weight.
If you want to lose weight you need to set reasonable goals for each week.
Weight Goals
Aim for around 2 pounds or 1Kg per week.
This is a good target for most people.
Be Patient
Don't expect to see progress happen magically.
Don't get easily discouraged when things take longer than you want.
Aknowledge mistakes
In the perfect world, we would never make mistakes, but that is not reality.
You might give in to the temptation of a slice of cake, or skip a days walk.
You might even find yourself at a McDonalds.
Aknowledge the mistake, figure out why you did it, take steps to not do it again.
Move on from the mistake.
One more point before I go, check with your doctor that you are fit to exercise
and fit to diet, don't damage yourself trying to improve yourself.
